Roque "Rocky" Rapacon
Sigung
I hope to pass on what I have learned so our art never dies and allow my students to be better than I am.
My name is Roque Rapacon and I am currently a 6th degree black belt in Kajukenbo, holding the title of Sigung under my father, Senior Grand Master Christopher Rapacon.
I am also the head coach of the Professional/Amateur Asylum Fight Team. I have coached fighters that have fought in Bellator, World Series of Fighting, Dragon House and many more local and national MMA organizations. Under the instruction of myself and our instructor team, we have coached many champions at both the amateur and professional levels.
I have been training since the age of 3 in Kajukenbo and have crossed trained in No-Gi Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing (Muay Thai, Dutch and American) and Boxing since high school. I hold a brown/black belt under John Hackleman, founder of The Pit and coach to former UFC champions and legends Chuck Liddell and Glover Teixeira. I was also mentored by the late Shawn Tompkins as a coach at the Tapout training center in Las Vegas.
Through the years I have also had the privilege of training under and with Dave Camarillo (Guerilla Jiu-Jitsu), Greg Jackson (Jackson-Wink MMA), Ricardo Liborio (American Top Team), Mark Dellagrotte (Sityodtong USA) and many more.
